I am dedicated to teaching excellence, providing students with the best opportunities to succeed in their college and research careers. My teaching journey—as a Global Professor of English at UofA—has been impressively rewarding, highlighted by students’ outstanding achievements and the program-wide recognition of my teaching excellence through multiple teaching awards.

Students’ Achievements Showcase

• Three students received awards and recognitions (Reflective Writing category) from the Students’ Guide for Foundations Writing Contest 2024 hosted by the Writing Program at The University of Arizona. They are all from my ENGL106 Foundations Writing for English as an Additional Language Students course (Fall 2023). Of note, they are the only Chinese winners among all award recipients.
